Sometimes all it takes is a little motivation and another person’s eye to get your closet working well for you. I had just that situation recently when a client wanted to redo her closet. We didn’t have a lot of time to work together so we tag teamed her closet. She spent a late night pulling everything out of her closet and getting rid of many things. Because I didn’t really know how things were originally set up in the closet I didn’t have a preset idea of where things should go. It worked out great. Just the motivation of knowing I was coming in the morning helped her to get through the mundane task of sorting out old clothes.

The client had these shelves in the closet that I thought were the perfect width for sweaters. I might have to figure out how to incorporate these into my own closet.
