War on School Papers

Activity Bags

My children are 11, 9 and 5.  We have one playing volleyball, one playing flag football and one taking trapeze lessons.  On top of that we attend church regularly and sometimes help out with the campus ministry at church.  And we do have a little bit of a social life beyond that...sometimes.  HA!   Last year we were always arriving at someone's lesson or practice and the other children were complaining of being bored, thirsty of hungry.  So this year we are trying to be ...continue reading

Back To School Stacks

Do It With Me: Schoolwork Storage Project

Today my oldest daughter, Savannah, had her 5th grade graduation ceremony.  It was surreal to think that she won't be going to elementary school anymore.  She has a wonderful class of students graduating with her and I just can't believe that she will be starting middle school next year.  She's so excited and very ready for this next stage of life.  I think I'm ready but today was definitely a huge milestone in our lives.  Someone is seriously going to have to hold me ...continue reading

Clip It Up

It's almost back to school time! All three of my children will be going to school full time this year.  This year we're moving back into our regular school building after it has been COMPLETELY renovated..in fact, most of it was demolished and a new building was built behind and attached to the historic building.  Suffice it to say that there will be a lot of change and chaos around the start of school this year.
